Gaining Confidence, Reaching Goals

Most of us have faced a time in our horsemanship where we wished we had more confidence. Do you have goals and dreams that you feel are not reachable?

Gaining confidence is a personal journey. We all have different backgrounds with horses. Due to these experiences, we all have different areas that we may need a boost in confidence.

Some people are confident in the saddle, but not on the ground. For some trailering can be an area of avoidance. While others may be able to do everything on the ground, but riding is fearful.

What we need to understand is that everyone's fear is their own. A person's fear may seem silly to someone else, but it's very real to them!

We will focus on different aspects of gaining confidence throughout the weekend.

- How do our horses think and use their senses - How our posture affects the horse - How do our emotions affect our confidence and how does that affect the horse - Simple ground work exercises to help both you and your horse - Finding your balance in the saddle -Go home with a plan.

We will begin Friday evening at 6 pm with lecture.

Any horses trailering in for the weekend must be at the barn by 5 pm. This clinic is limited to six riders. Your horse must be safe for the level you are at. All horses must have a copy of a negative coggins.

Stalls are available at $15/night. One bag of shavings per night is provided. Stalls must be cleaned prior to leaving.

Outdoor areas are available at $10/night.

Cost is $275 for the weekend. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Register by calling Carrie at 920-604-3045 or email: breezyacres09@gmail.com. When registering, please email where you are at with your horse and what you are hoping to gain from this weekend.

Due to nature of this clinic, auditing is not available. You may participate as a non-rider for $175 for the weekend.
